Peplum. It was big in the 80′s. It’s HUGE for 2012. Dresses, skirts, tops and jackets are all are all sporting the ruffled piece of fabric at the waist. Worn correctly, this trend can give you that much sought-after hourglass shape. Opt for fitted, tailored pieces and avoid very gathered peplums unless you’re tall for the most flattering look.
